VIACOMCBS AND GRAY TELEVISION RENEW THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK
NEW YORK, November 09, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – ViacomCBS (NASDAQ: VIACA, VIAC) and Gray Television, Inc. (“Gray”) (NYSE: GTN) today announced a multi-year agreement that renews all 47 of its affiliations to the CBS network for Gray Television stations, including two of the top 25 affiliates in the market, WOIO in Cleveland, OH and WBTV in Charlotte, North Carolina. Gray is one of CBS’s largest affiliate operators, covering approximately 11% of the US audience and serving nearly 13 million homes in the 47 markets combined. Upon its acquisition of local media group stations from Meredith Corporation later this year, Gray will become the largest owner and operator of CBS subsidiaries serving 55 markets reaching 18% of U.S. households.
