NMGF Hosts Outdoor Adventures Hunting & Fishing Show 2022 in New Mexico July 29-31

ALBUQUERQUE – The annual New Mexico Outdoor Adventure Hunting and Fishing Show opens at noon on Friday, July 29 and runs through Sunday, July 31 at the Manuel Lujan Building at Expo New Mexico, located at the Albuquerque Fairgrounds.

This event is organized by the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish (NMDGF).

This year’s event includes hands-on demonstrations of the latest equipment for hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation. Off-road vehicles, recreational vehicles, boats and kayaks will be displayed by local dealers. Conservation organizations, outfitters and guides will be on hand to answer questions.

Young participants will have the opportunity to learn or improve their skills at the free catch-and-release fishing pond. All visitors can enjoy the pellet shooting range, sponsored by Bernalillo 4-H, and the archery range. A silent auction will give participants the chance to win one of 10 European bighorn sheep mounts from New Mexico.

The show will be open to the public from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free for all licensed anglers and hunters. Youth 18 and under get in free and everyone else only pays $3.
