Discovery Channel’s new fishing show filmed here in New Jersey
It’s summer here on the Jersey Shore and many are out on our beautiful waters enjoying some fantastic fishing here off the Jersey Shore. Fishing is a huge industry here in Jersey and thousands of people enjoy the activity every year.
People enjoy all kinds of offshore fishing here in Ocean, Monmouth, Atlantic, and Cape May counties. Our friend Tom Fote from Jersey Shore Anglers Association always keeps us up to date with the fishing scene in New Jersey and you can keep up to date with the latest news by visiting their website. The JCCA has a fishing tournament (fluke) coming up the first week of August (4-7)
If you enjoy fishing here in Jersey, you will definitely want to see a new Discovery Channel show filmed entirely here in Jersey waters. According to a recent Philly Voice article, a new Discovery series will focus on fishing in areas like Barnegat Bay, Sea Isle City and the Mullica River.
“Saltwater Underground with Nick Honachefsky” will debut on Discovery. According to Philly Voice, if you miss an episode, you can always check out Nick’s Youtube channel to see all his work.
Definitely, something “Jersey” fishing enthusiasts need to check out. It’s pretty cool to see our waters featured on a national show, showing why we love getting outside here in the Garden State.
