Next to the permanent ice fishing trailers and the giant inflatable snow globe in DECC’s Pioneer Hall is a large enclosure containing two grizzly bears.
Yogi, an 8-year-old Alaskan grizzly weighing around 700 pounds, and Lea, a 3-year-old grizzly weighing around 250 pounds, are part of the Grizzly Experience exhibit at this weekend’s Arrowhead Ice Fishing and Winter Show.

âIt’s a strictly educational show,â said Osborn, who also owns Grizzly Ranch and Florida Black Bear Rescue. “It also allows our customers to see these wonderful animals up close.”
At the end of the show, spectators will have the chance to purchase a “bear kebab”, which is an extra-long stick that includes some of the bear’s favorite treats like grapes, strawberries and marshmallows, and give them to Yogi and Lea. .
