Pleasanton Fly Fishing Show 2020 Recap

CalTrout staff had a great time at the Pleasanton Fly Fishing Show last weekend at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. We have enjoyed seeing familiar faces and welcoming many new members to our organization. The Fly Show is a great opportunity for us to connect with current CalTrout members and others who want to get involved.

The Fly Fishing Show also created the International Fly Fishing Film Festival. The CalTrout sponsored film “Poetry in Motion”, which follows the story of Maxine McCormick, the youngest world champion in fly throwing in history, is presented at the festival. If you missed your chance to watch it, CalTrout is hosting three Bay Area screenings. March 10 in Larkspur, March 11 in Orinda and March 26 in Palo Alto. Buy your tickets at
